    We will be making our first visit to Disneyland this Halloween! Can you tell me what kind of weather we can expect in California this time of year. We are from New England and are hoping for some swimming weather during the day at least. Thanks!

    Hi Cathy,

    I am so happy to hear that you'll soon be making the cross-country trek to visit Disneyland in sunny California!  Halloween Time at Disneyland is such a great time to visit because the crowds are lower than usual, the parks are decorated for Fall, Mickey's Halloween Party will be in full swing, and Haunted Mansion will be showing off its nifty Nightmare Before Christmas overlay, Space Mountain will be taken over by ghosts, and that's only the beginning!  But, wait... Did I mention the weather?

    The weather in late October is perfect.  It warms up to reach the high mid 70's in the daytime which is perfect for flip flops and water attractions, but be sure to bring along a wind breaker or hoodie, as temperatures can plunge into the 50's after dark.  I can definitely see some pool time in your future, because the pools are heated to a comfortable temperature and there's a good chance that it will be sunny every day!
