We will be making our first trip to WDW 4/29/12 to 5/5/12. I have a 7 yr old girl and 6yr old boy and we are staying at the villas at the Wilderness lodge. What would be the easiest character dining reservation to get to and from?

    Hi Margaret:

Great idea to schedule a character dining reservation for your upcoming visit.  The easiest character dining option transportation-wise from the Wilderness Lodge is my favorite, Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort.  Every vacation, my boys insist on eating at Chef Mickey's - for breakfast, dinner, or both. The energy at Chef Mickey's is incredible. My boys not only enjoy the huge buffet, but their smiles shine when Mickey, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, and Minnie stop by the table to pose for pictures and sign autographs. I don't want to spoil any surprises, but start practicing your napkin waiving skills now.  Simply take a boat over to the Magic Kingdom and either hop on the monorail or take the short walkway over to the Contemporary Resort for Chef Mickey's.

Crystal Palace and Cinderella's Royal Table inside the Magic Kingdom are just as easy to get to from Wilderness Lodge, but require Park tickets to the Magic Kingdom if you want to dine at either location.

    Enjoy your vacation.
