Hello and welcome to planDisney, Leslie!
Leslie, your question about traveling with your daughter took me back to my oldest son's very first visit. When he was 15 months old my husband and I introduced him to the Most Magical Place on Earth and from his first taste of the iconic Dole Whip to watching him clap along when riding
"it's a small world," that trip still holds some of my fondest memories.
Leslie, when traveling with a little one, I can't imagine a better home base for your trip than
Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort. With your Princess in tow, you can conveniently walk back and forth to
Magic Kingdom Park (or
take the monorail) when it's time for that mid-afternoon nap! To that end I'm very happy to report that you are able to
request a crib for your villa. While many 1-Bedroom Villas come standard with a pack 'n play already in the closet, just let the front desk know that you will need the standard size crib. To better ensure your wish will be granted, I would recommend calling a few days or a week prior to your arrival and asking the Cast Member to note this request on your reservation. If you are a
Disney Vacation Club Member, you can do this by
calling Member services. If you are a guest staying on a cash reservation, you can
call into the Disney Resort Hotel Reservations line.
Leslie, I hope this helps as you trying to make certain your little Princess can easily drift off to dreamland. If you have any other questions before your trip, I hope you'll come back and see us here at planDisney where we love to make dreams come true for Mouseketeers of all ages.
