We are making our first trip to "the happiest place on earth" and I was wondering about strollers or wagons. My 3 yr old will tire quickly walking and I will also if I have to carry her. Does the park rent some form of transportation help for l

    Hi Judd,

The first trip is so exciting!  I can't wait for you to see your little one's eyes light up at every turn!

Strollers are available for rental in each of the 4 major theme parks, water parks and Downtown Disney.  Strollers must be returned before leaving the parks.

As a mother of a three year old I recommend bringing your own umbrella stroller.  I find that having my own stroller is helpful when traveling around the resorts.  Carrying a sleeping three year old to the wait at the bus stop at the end of the evening is not fun.  Also, it's helpful to have a stroller inside the airport.

If you do choose to bring your own stroller, make sure to tie a ribbon or something on the handle to help you identify it.  Cast members often rearrange strollers while guests are in attractions.  You'll be amazed at how many people own a stroller that looks just like yours.

You're absolutely right that your little girl will tire quickly, and the parks are huge!  Even if she doesn't normally use a stroller at home, she'll be happy to have one on vacation.

Hope this helps.  Have a magical vacation!

Meet the Panelist: Diane, Georgia

After spending 25 years in RI, my husband and I relocated to GA with our youngest, who is now in high school. I took my first trip to Walt Disney World when I was 11 and I have traveled many times since then with all different party sizes. From creating our first itinerary as a honeymooner to later creating magical experiences for our multigenerational family gatherings, every aspect of planning a vacation has been pure joy to me.  Learn More About Diane
