    We will be making our first trip to Disneyworld in Aug. '09. While we are there, I will celebrate my 30th birthday. What restaurant would you choose to celebrate at that will be fun for the whole family but hopefully not embarrassing for me? : )

    Let me be the first to wish you a Happy 30th Birthday!  I know when I celebrate, I don't particularly want a ton of attention - I certainly don't need a personal serenade of Happy Birthday from the waiters!

    I recently celebrated my 40th birthday with 10 people in my party ranging in age from 4 to 72, and we loved Chef Mickey's.  It is a blast for the kids, and you, the birthday girl, will be acknowledged without being singled out.  For my celebration, they brought a special placemat, a cupcake with a candle, and that's it - plenty for me!  All birthdays throughout Chef Mickey's are celebrated at once when Mickey and his "staff" come out and sing.  It is not overdone, but still fun and festive.

    Chef Mickey's is a buffet, so everyone in my party found exactly what they wanted to eat.  The dessert table is very yummy with a wonderful selection and even a soft-serve ice cream machine.  If you would like to purchase a birthday cake and have it delivered to your table, call the Cake Hotline at 407-827-2253.

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home.
