Making our first trip to Disney with our 9 and 12 year olds as well as grandparents. I'm stressing! Any tips on must sees! I was also curious if you can laminate your paper tickets. Thanks for your help!

Don't stress, John!  In Nemo: The Musical at Animal Kingdom, my favorite turtle, Crush, sings about going with the flow and it's a good piece of advice to pass along to Walt Disney World vacationers.  As far as must sees for first timers, everyone probably has a different opinion on that.  Some of the highlights that pop to mind are:

But really, those only scratch the surface.  There's a whole lot more to Walt Disney World than just the attractions and shows.  For my family, much of our experience is about taking in the magic in all its forms!  Might I suggest a Google search?  Type in "First Timer Must Sees at Walt Disney World" and your search should yield a few different blog posts that give detailed recommendations and opinions lengthier than is permitted in this forum.  As for laminating your paper tickets, it's not permitted.  Your tickets need to pass through a scanner.  You might consider purchasing a lanyard with a plastic pouch attached to keep your tickets in.  Have a great first trip!

Given your inclination to plan a magical trip, I can already tell we have a lot in common. I'm Darcie, and my friends would be the first to tell you that Disney trip planning (especially dining!) is my love language. Of course, the vacations my family enjoys today look much different than they did when our kids were little, but while some of our favorite activities have evolved, Disney destinations still top our travel wish lists. Let's work together to plan a downright dreamy vacation for your family! Learn More About Darcie
