I am making my first trip to Disney World in March. While I am there I plan on making my own lightsaber at Savi’s Workshop. While looking at the details I see it says there can be a builder and 1 guest. Would it be possible to bring my wife and 5 year old?

    Bright Suns, Andy!

Welcome to planDisney. I am so excited to hear that you are planning your first trip ever to Walt Disney World Resort. Building a lightsaber at Savi's Workshop is sure to be one of the highlights of your upcoming stay.

Andy, the space inside Savi's is limited, as we want to keep this location discreet and free from any First Order attention. For this reason, only one Guest will be permitted to attend with you. Your Guest will have space to stand behind you during the experience, and it should take about 30 minutes from check-in to finish. I have visited the workshop with my younglings, and even our non-builders found this to be a fun start to our morning.

If exploring over watching is more your child's speed, there is a lot to do in Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge. While you build, your wife and child can check out the shops of Black Spire Outpost. Creature Stall is one of my favorites. Taking home a unique pal from Batuu is a great way to remember your time in a galaxy far, far away.

    Have the best adventure ever!
