We are making our first family trip to Disney Feb 7-14, 2013. If we have dinner at Ohana's are we allowed to go down to the beach to watch Wishes if we are NOT staying at the polynesian resort? If so how long are we allowed to park there? Thanks!

    Hi Ashley!

You certainly may visit the beach at Disney's Polynesian Resort after dinner at 'Ohana to watch Wishes - in fact I highly recommend that you do! It's one of those Magical moments that you just must experience once. If you time it right, you may also get to see the Electric Water Pageant pass by! It usually passes the Polynesian at about 9:00pm. Check with the Polynesian's front desk for the most up to date information at the time of your visit for dinner.

You'll be able to stay at the resort and enjoy the beach under the moonlit sky as long as you wish. Consider grabbing a cool beverage from the Tambu lounge to take down with you while you relax in a hammock or beach chair with your toes in the sand! It's a spectacular way to end a Disney day!

During the most popular fireworks shows such as the Fourth of July, Christmas and New Year's Eve, the beach area is restricted to only Guests of the Polynesian Resort in the evening. Most other times of the year, you won't have a problem accessing the area for a relaxing evening after your meal at the property.

Thanks for visiting the Moms Panel with your question Ashley!
I hope you'll write me back again soon if I may assist you further in the planning of your February 2013 trip!

Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World!
