We are making our first ever visit in June. We are travelling from the UK and have read about food orders being delivered to their resorts from supermarkets. How many days in advance would we need to place orders for food to be there on our arrival day .

Hello Mark and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel where it's always an added pleasure for me to assist another Guest from the United Kingdom with their jolly holiday plans to visit the magic of Walt Disney World Resort.
I'm so excited to hEar you're all set for an unforgettable 1st ever Disney trip and what a great time to be visiting with the opening of Toy Story Land on June 30th 2018; I know I just can't wait to check it out for myself sometime real soon!
You'll be pleased to know that for Guest convenience each Disney Resort benefits from its own shop which stocks a selection of grocery items and household sundries. However I'm happy to share from my own experience that I've used the online grocery delivery services provided by GardenGrocer.com with great success. It's easy to arrange delivery direct to Bell Services at your Walt Disney World Resort hotel; full terms and conditions including advanced delivery dates and so on for The Garden Grocer can be viewed via their own website.
