When making FastPass+ Reservations in advance, do you have to make selections for all 3? What if I only want to make one advance reservation for an attraction? With the new Tier system in DHS, we’d like to utilize FP+ for rides, not shows.

    Hi Kaitlyn!

Thanks for your question. FastPass+ is such a great benefit, in the sense that you can reserve that favorite attraction at least 60 days prior to your vacation (if staying on Disney property), or 30 days if just purchasing ticket admission. Then you can map out your theme park days (dining, parades, fireworks, special performances) knowing you have peace of mind you'll get on the ride you want without having to wait in the regular standby queue.

So making FastPass+ reservations is a benefit to guests, but it is totally optional! You are certainly not required to have to make all 3 FastPass reservations. If you prefer to make just 1 reservation, 2 reservations, 3 reservations, or none at all, you can do this!

At Disney's Hollywood Studios, you can make one Tier 1 FastPass selection, and then two other Tier 2 FastPass selections. Here is the current lineup of Tier 1 attractions at Hollywood Studios:

    *Alien Swirling Saucers
*Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith
    *Slinky Dog Dash
    *Toy Story Mania!
*The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror

Note: Unfortunately at this time, Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge is currently not available for FastPass.

My only concern, however, is if you make just one Tier 1 selection, and decide to wait to make other selections, it may greatly diminish your chances of getting on the other attractions in the time you wish to reserve (for example: Tier 2 attraction Star Tours – The Adventures Continue). If nothing else, I would say go ahead and make all 3 FastPass selections. You can always change or cancel your FastPass later if needed. I just wouldn't want you to decide later that you would like to make that attraction ahead of time and it not be available.

May all your wishes come true at Disney World!
