When making fast pass reservations, do we need to make them for my one year son as well? I know he doesn’t need a ticket but wasn’t sure if he needed a fast pass for any of the rides he can go on with us.

    Hi there, Ashley!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I'm so excited to see you will be visiting Walt Disney World Resort in October!

My family loves to utilize Disney FastPass+ service to ensure we can enjoy several of our "must do" experiences when visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth!" I always get so excited when it's time to book FastPass+ selections because it means our vacation is quickly approaching. As you already know, children under the age of 3 are considered Guests of Mickey and do not need theme park admission. Since you will not need to purchase a theme park ticket for your 1-year-old son, you will not be able to book FastPass+ selections for him. Your son will still be able to enter the FastPass+ entrance with you as long as it is an attraction that is categorized for Guests of "Any Age" or "Any Height." When you arrive for your FastPass+ experience, simply let the Cast Member know your son is under the age of 3, and he will be allowed to enter the FastPass+ entrance with the rest of your family.

You will be amazed at just how many attractions and entertainment options your little one will be able to experience at the theme parks. If you are hoping to ride attractions in which your 1-year-old does not meet the minimum height requirement, be sure to utilize Rider Switch.

I hope this information is helpful to you. Let us know if you have any additional questions, Ashley. We would love to assist you further in planning a magical trip for your family!
