When making our family of 5 for dining , we were unable to get all 5 together on same reservation. We have two separate reservations within 10 mins of each other at same restaurant. Will they seat us all together? Thanks for feedback

    Hi Susan,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I am delighted that you brought this question to us and I am so glad you have made dining reservations.

Although each restaurant is different, my experience has been that they try their best to accommodate parties dining together and the smaller the party, the easier it is to accommodate. On one visit, there were seven of us. I was unable to get all of us on the same reservation for Be Our Guest restaurant when I tried making reservations online at the 180-day mark. So I called and spoke to a cast member in dining who helped me make two separate reservations for about the same time. When we arrived at the restaurant to check-in for our reservation, we simply asked the cast members if we could sit together and they were able to seat us at the same table.

I will offer one word of caution. We had a reservation at Rain Forest Cafe in Animal Kingdom one evening and they were at least an hour behind in seating guests. By the time we were seated, I was just happy to take any table. There was no way I would have requested to sit together if it meant an additional delay. The cast members were working hard, but I doubt they would have been able to accommodate such a request in a timely manner given the delays they were experiencing. Despite the wait, we loved the restaurant and had a great time! We just had to eat quickly, take our dessert to go and run to a Fast Pass+ selection afterwards.

Susan, I suggest you get to the restaurant 20-30 minutes early to make your request and give them time to make adjustments. We always check-in early (if possible) to make special requests and mention celebrations.

Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
