    After making Disney world resort reservations are we able to modify the trip reservations if another family member wants to join us (such as adding them to our group& going from a standard room to a family suite)?

    Hi Rachael, and welcome to planDisney!

    I love that you may have others joining you on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation! Can you imagine all of the fun adventures that are on the horizon? The more, the merrier is the motto for sure. 

    Yes, pending availability, you can modify your current reservation and change to an available family suite. To modify the reservation, log into your My Disney Experience account and select “My Reservations,” where you should see the “Modify Reservation” link. If, for some reason, you cannot make the changes online, call (407)934-7639 and speak with a cast member. 

    Before you modify your reservation, be sure to add the additional guests to your Family & Friends List (and vice versa) so that they are included with any dining and theme park reservations. Using the My Disney Experience mobile app, select the three lines at the bottom right of the screen and choose “My Profile.” Select “Family & Friends List" at the top of the screen, “Add a Guest,” and proceed through the process.
