    Making dinner reservations for the Sci-Fi Diner, there was only a 2 person availability during our visit, and my 6 yr old grandson will be along. Is it possible to fit him in the booth with my husband and I or do we have to have a 3 person reservation?

    Hello Debbie.  Thanks for visiting us here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. 

    Have you tried calling 407-WDW-DINE to see if a Cast Member can help add another person to your reservation?  For a party of 3, you really need to have a reservation for 3 people.  Because of safety reasons, the restaurant can only hold a certain number of people at one time and the reservation numbers really help with that.  If calling ahead doesn't work, I would try to be at the restaurant right when they open that day to see if they can add another member to your party then.

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
