    When making dinner reservations as a resort guest, will the 180+ days automatically show up as available on the calendar when I am logged into My Disney Experience? Or will I need to do anything special? Any help or insight is appreciated. Thank you.

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! It sounds like you are gearing up to make advanced dining reservations for a trip to the Walt Disney World Resort. That is a happy time in our household!

    The dining reservation system will automatically allow you to make your reservations on the day your reservation window opens. I keep an eye on the countdown indicator in My Disney Experience. To check, click on the My Disney Experience icon in the top right of the Walt Disney World homepage. You should then see how many days you have until your Walt Disney World vacation.

    Before that magical day arrives, I map out all of our dining plans for breakfast, lunch and dinner so that I know which reservations I need to make. I also make the most popular reservations first - Be Our Guest Restaurant and Cinderella's Royal Table are two that I book immediately. Since we love to do pre-park opening dining reservations, I also book those first because I prefer to make them at 8:00 a.m on days that the parks do not have early morning Extra Magic Hours. Once I make all of the reservations, we typically have some modifications to make later as we finalize plans for the trip.

    Marlene, if you are making dining reservations for a large group, you may need to call Disney Dining at 407-939-1947. Otherwise, you should be all set to make your reservations online once your time is here!
