When making dining reservations can you make reservations for your entire trip starting on the 60th day?

Welcome back to planDisney, Gerard! We love to see a returning guest planning another Magical vacation!

Gerard, dining around the Walt Disney World Resort is one of my favorite topics of conversation, so I'm very happy to chat with you today about making advanced dining reservations. If you are a guest of a Disney Resort hotel, yes, you can make reservations for your entire trip (up to 10 days), 60 days before your check-in date.

As you'll find some restaurants around the Walt Disney World Resort are very popular, I would encourage you to have your list ready and log into your My Disney Experience before 6:00 AM on your 60-day date. Gerard, it might also be helpful to know that you do not need to book your dining reservations in any order. So, for example, if you are hoping to dine among the stars at my kids' favorite new restaurant, Space 220, on the third day of your trip, I would attempt to reserve that first as it's a popular option.

Lastly, Gerard, if at first you aren't able to find availability at your desired locations, just channel your inner Hercules as he sang, "I can go the distance," and keep checking. I have had great luck in finding reservations in the days leading up to my trip as guests' plans do often change.

Wherever you find yourself eating breakfast, lunch or dinner, I hope it's a delicious part of your Disney day. Please come on back to planDisney with any other questions you might have.

    Until then, Bon Appetit!

Meet the Panelist: Lauren, Pennsylvania

Greetings from central Pennsylvania! Hi, I’m Lauren and I can’t wait to answer all of your Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Vacation Club questions. My husband and I became Disney Vacation Club Members because we love visiting the Disney Parks and with hectic day-to-day schedules, wanted to prioritize time away for our family. The options at the Walt Disney World Resort make each trip unique and I am excited to help other families build vacations with those unforgettable moments.
