When making dining reservations and our part includes a 19month old, do we include him in the number of people in the party? Wondering if it would be easier for us to make some of the reservations with "6" in our party instead of "7"...

    Hi, Diane!

How fun to have a darling little Mouseketeer in your travel party! I am sure he is going to be super excited to meet all his favorite Disney Pals during your vacation.

You will need to include all members of your party in your Dining Reservation count. If you only put six guests, and seven guests show up, I am guessing they will still seat you, but you may have a longer wait as you will need seating for that additional guest (whether in a regular chair, high chair, or carrier).

The good news is that since your little guy is under age 3, he will dine for free at buffets and family style dining locations. At other meals, you can purchase him his own kids meal, or he can share your meal with you.

Just for some extra information regarding traveling with little ones: Our tiny pals do not need a park ticket until reaching age 3. (Yippee!  Free admission!)  They also do not need FastPass+ reservations, as they can just tag along with their parent on his/her FastPass+ reservation. Although they do not need tickets or FastPasses, kiddies will still receive MagicBands as to not feel left out from everyone else!

Good luck securing all your desired Disney Dining Reservations.
