Hello, I will be making my dining reservations next week. Our last trip was in 2010 and I am now reading you need to use a credit card for all reservations. Please confirm and any additional info would be greatly appreciated. TYVM.

    Hi Lynn!

It is true that a credit card number is now taken for all dining reservations.  For most reservations, your card will not be charged, just put on file.  The only restaurants that now require payment ahead of time are Cinderella's Royal Table, the Fantasmic! dinner packages, Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Review, the Spirit of Aloha dinner show and Mickey's Backyard BBQ.  Other than those select dining experiences, the only time your card would be charged is if you are a no show the day of your reservation.

If you haven't already finalized which restaurants you are eating at, I suggest adding 'Ohana for dinner to your lineup!  It is, by far, my favorite meal on property.  I was just there a couple of weeks ago and it was better than ever.

Wishing you the best of luck when making your reservations.  If I can help you with anything else, please come back and ask me.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
