When making dining reservations do I need to include my 2 year in the head count? Also do the restaurants have high chairs and if so should I add then to the special request part of the reservations?

    Hi Angel,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question!

Yes, you definitely have to include your 2 year old as a member of your party when you make your dining reservations for your upcoming visit at the Walt Disney World Resort. Although you may not get charged for their meal if you’re dining at a buffet or family style restaurant, they still count as a Guest for capacity purposes.

One thing you don’t have to worry about, however, is having a high chair available for you little one. I’ve dined at almost every Walt Disney World Resort restaurant with my little guy and we’ve never had an issue with finding a high chair for him. In my experience, you don’t need to add that as a special request - simply tell the Cast Member at the podium when you check in for your dining reservation

Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions!

    Have a Magical Day,

    Lynne
