Hello, When making dining reservations is it necessary to include an infant in the party #?

    Hi Pamela, welcome to planDisney!

I understand you're planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort with a little mousketeer - how magical?! My children received their "1st Visit!" buttons as infants; these complimentary stroller accessories make great souvenEARS and are available at Guest Relations inside the theme parks as well as most indoor retail locations.

All Guests, including infants, must be included in your party size when making a dining reservation, Pamela. Infants will not be charged for dining, but it's important to let each table service restaurant know who's coming so they can prepare adequate space that is safe and comfortable for your party.

When it comes time for your reservation, you can use the My Disney Experience mobile app to check in; a push notification will automagically appear. Part of the check-in process lets you specify how many adults, children, and infants are in your party. You can also specify the number of high chairs and/or booster seats needed. If you've already made a dining reservation that did not include the infant, hakuna matata. The mobile check-in process lets you add up to one additional Guest to your party.

My son's first table service dining experience was dinner with Winnie the Pooh and friends at The Crystal Palace. He only had eyes for Tigger's nose! Character dining returns to this popular Magic Kingdom restaurant on September 20. Advance dining reservations are strongly recommended for all table service dining experiences and can be made online up to 60 days in advance. Mid-October dates are available now.

I'm happy to share that Guests under the age of three do not require admission or theme park reservations to enter the parks. During your park days, be sure to take advantage of the Baby Care Centers located in each theme park. These air-conditioned spaces are ideal break spots that offer a comfortable place to feed and change your baby.

I hope you have the best time making magical memories at Walt Disney World, Pamela. Please return to planDisney with any other trip-planning questions.

    Choose magic,
    Jennifer
