When making dining reservations, do I include my 2 year old grandson in the number reserved?

    Hi there, Eileen!

Thank you for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question about dining at the Disneyland Resort. I’m sure you’re getting excited for your family’s visit to the Happiest Place on Earth!

Yes, it’s best to include your 2-year-old grandson in the headcount when making reservations for Character Dining or any other table-service restaurant at the Disneyland Resort. Guests under the age of 3 eat for free when sharing from an adult's plate at Character Dining and all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet locations, but the restaurant should have all the members of your dining party on the reservation to ensure you’re seated at a table that accommodates everyone. Reservations can be made online or by calling (714) 781-DINE or (714) 781-3463.

Bon appétit, Eileen! Please don’t hesitate to write back with more questions as you continue planning. We’d be glad to help.

    Wishing you magic,
    Courtney
