When making dining reservations if there is a child under 3 do I have to include them in the number for the reservation? For ex there will be 5 of us total (my mom, my husband, myself, and two children ages 7 and 1) would I make the reservation for 4 or 5?

Hello Crystal!  Thanks for asking a great question here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

When making dining reservations, you do need to include everyone in your party.  Even though you wont need to pay for your 1 year old to eat, they need to be accounted for in your reservation total.  Each restaurant can only seat a certain number of people for safety reasons, so make sure to include the little one when making your reservations.

If you don't already have 'Ohana for dinner on your reservation list, I suggest checking it out.  It is my favorite place to eat at Walt Disney World.  Yum, I'm hungry just thinking about it.  If I can help you with anything else, please feel free to let me know.  Have a great day!

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
