Making dining reservations & I can't decide between Fulton's or T-Rex. We've never done TREX but we love Fulton's. It will be the hubby & I. Any recommendations?

    Hi Jessica!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Our family loves Downtown Disney and usually spends at least one evening enjoying its food, shopping and atmosphere. While we haven't had the opportunity to dine at T-REX yet, we have stopped a few times to enjoy the gift shop and even considered waiting for a table. We have been fortunate enough to enjoy a seafood lunch at Fulton's Crab House that was fantastic! Not only did we love the food, but dining on the riverboat is such a fun experience. And who can resist lobster corn dogs? In our experience, T-REX is very kid-oriented and very loud, even just in the gift shop and entrance. For a meal with just my husband and I, I would choose Fulton's Crab House for the menu and atmosphere.

If you are looking for something new, there are many new restaurants opening as Downtown Disney is transformed into Disney Springs. So far, the new restaurants that have been announced are The BOATHOUSE, Morimoto Asia and STK Steakhouse. Keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog for announcements about opening dates and how and when to make reservations. I would recommend making a reservation for a restaurant that is currently open now and securing a new reservation when they are available before canceling your existing reservation.

    T-T-F-N, ta ta for now!
