Hello and welcome, Christina. Are you getting so excited? Your trip to the
Most Magical Place on Earth is quickly approaching! It's going to be here before you know it.
When making your
dining reservations, Christina, be sure to include your little one in the number of people. Per Florida state regulations, each restaurant can only have so many bodies inside of it regardless if they'll be eating or not. It will greatly help the Cast Members prepare for your arrival and you can expect a much smaller wait time if they know the true number of people in your party.
With that being said, children under the age of 3 are Guests of my pal, Mickey Mouse, and can dine for free at Walt Disney World Restaurants. At all-you-care-to-enjoy meals, you are able to let your baby try or have as many plates as he or she cares to eat. At places where you select a single entree off of a menu, your baby is able to plate share with anyone at the table for no extra cost to you. Only if you wish to order your baby his or her own plate of food are you then required to pay something additional. It's a nice little break for parents because kids that age eat so little, I know I always appreciated it when my daughter was that small.
You can start making dining reservations up to 60 days prior to your check-in day online starting at 6:00 a.m. Mickey Mouse's time or over the phone by calling 407-WDW-DINE. Some of the best places do tend to fill up quickly, so if you know where you'd like to try to snag a reservation, I'd do that as soon as possible.
I hope this helps, Christina. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm here to help. Have a great day and happy planning!
