When making my Crystal Palace reservation in the fine print was some confusing wording that seemed to say that you can only go up to the buffet once.... is that correct?

    Hi Teresa,

I'm so happy to say that there must have been some sort of misunderstanding! Thankfully, there are not any restrictions on the number of times that you can visit the buffet line at The Crystal Palace.

If there were such a restriction, I'd certainly be employing every piece of engineering and construction knowledge I've learned over the years in order to build the most impressive tower of food that could be contained on a single plate because I absolutely love the food there!

Either that, or I'd stretch one arm out to line up four plates and stack a fifth on top of my head. Yeah, it's that good!

Here's a little tip from your buddy Derek:

If you snag a reservation at The Crystal Palace that's the first seating of that meal's window of service, you'll probably notice an immediate wave of guests flanking the far ends of either side of the buffet line.

Instead of following the crowds, consider making a beeline for the center of the buffet, which is the omelet station at breakfast or the carving station at lunch/dinner. You won't have to wait nearly as long for your first plate of food, which is especially helpful if you have children who get a little cranky if they have to wait too long when they're hungry.

(If you have a husband like me who gets a little cranky if he has to wait too long for his food when he's hungry, pass this tip on to him as well!)

I hope that helps! Please feel free to write back if you should have any additional questions (especially food related!) and I'll be happy to help in any way that I can.

    Best regards,
    Derek
