We are making a 7am breakfast reservation at Chef Mickey’s and want to drive our car to the Contemporary. We know that we can park here if we have a dining reservation, but is there a limit on how long we can park there for? Could we stay there half a day?

Hi There, Georgina! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so happy you’re here!

Oh my goodness, I’m so excited to hear you’ll be dining at Chef Mickey’s! It’s one of my absolute favorite spots for a delicious breakfast to start your day off in the most magical way possible! Not only is the food delicious (hello Mickey Waffles!), but you might even get a visit from some of our favorite Disney pals! I also just love walking the Walt Disney World Monorail run through Disney’s Contemporary Resort. It honestly never gets old!

Now, there is complimentary self-parking at Disney’s Contemporary Resort for Guests with an Advance Dining Reservation. However, there is a maximum of 3 hours of parked time for restaurant Guests, so you would not be able to leave your car parked there as you head off for your day in the parks. So instead, I would recommend parking at the resort for your breakfast reservation, and then once you’ve finished your fabulous meal, you can move your car over to your next destination! While this may not be the news you were hoping for, all destinations within Walt Disney World are super easy to get to, so moving your car won’t be too tricky to move your car!

Georgina, since your vacation will be here before you know it, I just wanted to take a moment and remind you to make your Park Pass Reservations once your theme park tickets are purchased. A reservation is required to enter the first park you plan to visit daily. Then, if you've added the park hopper option to your ticket, you will be able to hop over to any other theme park after 2 p.m. each afternoon. I took a look at the theme park reservation availability calendar for you, and as of right now, it does look like all four parks are available during your vacation. However, some parks do get booked up, so I recommend making your Park Pass Reservations as early as possible. I would hate for you not to be able to visit all the parks on your bucket list!

I do hope this answer has been helpful to you! You are visiting during such a wonderful time with so much to do and see at Walt Disney World! So, please visit us again soon if you have any questions or want to hear some of our recommendations. We would love to help make your vacation as magical as possible!

    Bye for now!
