When making advanced dining reservations - do I need to mention if I have a dining plan?

    Hi Kerrin,

You do not need to note that you have the Disney Dining Plan on your Advanced Dining Reservations.  However since you have a Disney Dining Plan, it is a good idea to make sure you are making reservations for restaurants that accept your Table Service dining credits.

To make Walt Disney World Advanced Dining Reservations follow the previous link.  There are filters in the middle of the linked page to help you with your search.  You should set the "Dining Experience" filter to the category of "Reservations Accepted" and then you should set the "Dining Plans" filter to your type of Disney Dining Plan.  You will then have the appropriate restaurants displayed from which to choose.

When you are on vacation and dining at a table service restaurant your server will ask if you are using the Disney Dining Plan and then they will scan your MagicBand or card before explaining your menu options.  It is a piece of cake (or whichever dessert tickles your fancy)!

Thank you for your question and please let us know if you have any further Disney vacation planning questions.  We are always hEAR to help!

    Blessings,
