When making ADR's, is a park ticket or resort reservation required (I know a CC is req'd) ? We are planning to stay offsite during the Xmas holiday but we still wanted to make reservations to dine at the parks while there.

    Hello India!

It is a pleasure to welcome you to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I love planning my family visits to the Walt Disney World Resort, and making advanced dining reservations is definitely one of my favorite things to do. With so many amazing dining locations, we always try to have a meal at a restaurant we haven’t been to yet, but we also like revisiting family favorites.

These favorites are usually very popular restaurants, so making sure I have reservations is a must, especially if I am visiting during a very busy time of the year such as the holidays. You will be happy to know that you do not need a Disney Resort hotel reservation or park admission tickets to make dining reservations. You can start booking your favorite locations 180 days in advance online, using the My Disney Experience mobile app or calling (407) WDW-DINE or (407) 939-3463.

Please note that you need a valid credit card to make reservations, and that admission tickets are required when a restaurant is located inside a theme park. And remember that even if you are not staying a Disney Resort hotel this time, you are more than welcome to book restaurants located at Disney Resort hotels.

I hope this helps you while planning! Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
