When making ADR that require a credit card, How exact do the # of people have to be not to be charged? With a total group of 14, we assume we need to book for largest possible (within reason), but if say 2 don't show up will we be charged for them?

    Hello Jim!

It sounds like you are getting ready for a MAGICAL time at Walt Disney World!  You all are going to have so much fun!!!!

When making Advanced Dining Reservations that require a credit card, you will need to let the Cast Member know the exact number in your party.  Now, if you are planning for 14 people, then I would definitely book your reservation for 14 people.  It is always so much easier to lower the number on your reservation than it is to increase your number.

To not be charged the "no-show" penalty of ten dollars per person, you will need to modify your reservation at least two full days prior to your reservation.  NOTE:  Some Disney Dining Restaurants only require a one full day notification.  Since I do not know which restaurant you are talking about, I wanted to be safe and tell you two days.  If you cannot modify your reservation within that time period, you will be charged the "no-show" penalty of ten dollars per person.

If you have other questions, please let me know!  I am here to help in any way!

    Have a MAGICAL day!
