Hello! I will be making my ADR on Oct. 26 for our trip. However, I've heard that some restaurants, include a few we really, really want (Ohana and Chef Mickey included), don't necessarily open their availability 180 days out. Is this true? Thanks.

    Hi Jill!

With very few exceptions, Disney's table service restaurants offer advance dining reservations 180 days prior to your vacation.  Occasionally, renovations to existing restaurants make it necessary for the reservation line to wait until closer to your travel date to offer available tables.  New restaurants, like the Be Our Guest Restaurant in the Magic Kingdom, typically operate on a less-than-180 day window in their early days of operation too due to unpredictable construction schedules.  Otherwise, it has been my experience that you can call 180 days in advance of your trip to snag available tables at restaurants on Walt Disney World property.

When you call on October 26th to make dining reservations for your upcoming trip, be sure to have second and third choice restaurants picked out in case the ones you desire are not available.  Being flexible in your preferred dining times will also make it more likely that you'll be able to dine at the most popular restaurants.  Even if you can't get a reservation when you call on the 26th, don't give up.  Check back at (407) WDW-DINE periodically to see if a table has opened up on the day you plan to visit.

Good luck!  I'll keep my fingers crossed that you'll be able to get all the reservations you seek.

    Jill
