Magical greetings, Natalie! Like Fairy Godmother with Cinderella, I'm happy to help.
My little princess visited Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the
Disneyland Resort just a few months ago! There are a variety of packages for every royal need. During our visit, there were four hair styling options. However, they weren't necessarily specific or modeled after any one Disney Princess so your little one is welcome to choose whichever style meets their fancy.
My daughter chose an Elsa dress and opted for the "Pixie Magic" style which included a ponytail with a clip of colorful hair running through it. The other hairstyle options were the Royal Braid, Enchanted, and Fantasy. These three options include a bun hairstyle accessorized with a hairpiece, bow, flower halo, or other accessory. When we visited, every hairstyle option included pulling the hair up. However, if your little one would like to be true to Moana's style and wear her hair down, I'm sure that is possible - just let the Fairy Godmother's Apprentice assigned to your royal know!
Natalie, for more information on sample packages and what each includes, visit the
Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique at the Disneyland Resort page of the Disneyland Resort website. All of the princess-specific packages include makeup and face gems. A Fairy Godmother's Apprentice at Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique can walk you through the details of each one. Keep in mind that dresses and accessories are subject to availability.
Once your little one is dressed in their royal best, check the
Disneyland Mobile App to see if Moana is greeting Guests inside
Disneyland Park. From the app home screen, click on the map icon, which is the icon second to the left on the bottom. This will open the resort map. At the top center, you'll see a pull-down arrow near the word "Attractions." Click on it and it'll show all the categories you can search in the map. If you select "Characters," you can see all the characters that can be spotted in the parks at that time. Be aware that entertainment and character availability are subject to change. We have seen Moana voyaging around Fantasyland near
"it's a small world" on several occasions. I hope you're able to SEA her!
I hope this information helps, Natalie. Have a most magical visit!
There's more beyond the reef,
Melissa
