Hiya, pal! Lisa, I’m so excited about your question. I struggled with the same decision only last year, and I am so happy with the one I made! I’ll ask you a few questions that may lead you to the right choice for you!
A
Park Hopper Ticket Pass certainly adds some magic to your vacation, I think having a Park Hopper over a single park pass is a must, since my family often hits a “second” park after nap time has passed. The dining plan we have tried, and it’s just too much food for our little family. Since we don’t often get dessert, and split plates between kids, we save a ton of cash going a la carte. After having said that, I bought my first annual pass last year and couldn’t believe how quickly I paid for it. Within my first 5 day vacation in April, I had visited enough parks, saved 10-20% on dining AND merchandise as well as tours to pay for the pass. I then have visited Walt Disney World a few other times this year, as I show my family and friends around, and reap the benefits of my pass, including my favorite
Annual Passholder exclusive entry line (the touchpoint lines are so much shorter!). That being said, even with only one vacation on the books for next year (so far!) I will absolutely be renewing my Annual Pass for the benefit of parking, and dining and merchandise discounts (I even use my discounts along with my Chase Disney VISA, which stack up!).
When you’re ready for that dessert, head over to the
Main Street Confectionary in Magic Kingdom, and rack up on rice krispy treats… they pack so easily and are my favorite selection! Please let me know if I can help you any more with your ticket questions, and I’ll see ya’ real soon! ~ Lindsey P.
