Welcome to planDisney, Lilly! It looks like you and your family are planning an incredible vacation together on Disney Cruise Line.
It sounds like you want to book two or three staterooms but are unsure if everyone will go. Once you place your deposit on the sailing of your choice, you will be able to
modify existing reservations until the final payment due date. You can book the three staterooms and make modifications if needed. There are no single occupancy staterooms, so whether there is one or two Guests in a stateroom, it will be based on double occupancy. You can also have three Guests in a stateroom.
There are
four main categories of staterooms: Concierge, Oceanview, Verandah, and Inside. They each will have a different price point. Concierge staterooms offer luxurious suites and family oceanview options. Verandah staterooms, my favorite, have a private verandah, some with partial views. Oceanview staterooms have a porthole. Lastly, inside staterooms have a porthole mirror with no exterior view. You can view picture galleries of these staterooms on each of the
ships on the Disney Cruise Line website.
Once you have your reservations booked, you can link the reservations so you can have dinner together in the
rotational dining restaurants. You all may be interested in one of the
adult-exclusive restaurants as well, which you can book once your
advance booking window opens and your reservation is paid in full. My family and I love having brunch in
Palo or
Palo Steakhouse.
Lilly, I hope this helps as you and your family make your reservation. If you have any questions about itineraries, Ports of Call, or any other Disney vacation details, sail back to
planDisney, and we will be happy to help.
