The Mainstreet Electrical Parade is at 7, fireworks at 8 and we have ADR at Chef Mickeys at 905. Will we have to leave in the middle of the fireworks to make our reservation or will we have time to watch and then make our way to the the Contemporary?

    Hi Heather,

You have a full evening planned at the Magic Kingdom!  I would recommend being at the front of the park to watch "Wishes"- usually Main Street U.S.A. is a good place to view them.  This way when they are over, you will just have a short walk out of the park.  You will not need to leave the park early and can enjoy the fireworks show.  It is just fantastic!  You will have plenty of time to walk to the Contemporary Resort.  Once you exit the Magic Kingdom, you will go left and can actually see the resort.  It is about a 10 minute walk. You can choose to ride the Monorail as well but keep in mind that it will be really crowded due to the fireworks ending.  You will love eating at Chef Mickey's.  Be sure to bring your camera and autograph book to capture those magical moments with Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Pluto, and Goofy!  Please let me know if I can help you again with your vacation planning, Heather!  I know your Holidays will be just MAGICAL!
