Is the main/big pool at Art of Animation Hotel heated?

    HI Erica,

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thanks for swimming over to us with your question. My family had a magical stay at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort earlier this year, and we just loved wandering through the themed areas and seeing our favorite characters in their brightly-colored and larger-than-life forms. I just know you are going to love it!

I’m as excited as my good pal Dory to tell you that yes, the Big Blue Pool is heated. The pools at Walt Disney World Resort hotels are kept at just over 80 degrees Fahrenheit, so you’ll be able to slide into those welcoming waters without any shivers.

Did you know that the Big Blue Pool at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort is the largest pool at Walt Disney World? Be sure to make like Mr. Ray and take time to explore the big blue world of the pool – there are some fin-tastic surprises for you under the water. Right beside the Big Blue Pool is the Schoolyard Sprayground, where the littlest fishies can splash and play in a splash zone just for them. Also, don’t miss the Cozy Cone and Flippin’ Fins pools in the Cars and The Little Mermaid areas of the resort, where you’ll find more great details and places to have a splash-tacular time.

Have a righteous time in the pools at Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Erica!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
