Will there be any Main Street tours of Walt’s apartment on November 22 or 23, 2025?

Hi there, Brittanie, and welcome to planDisney! Oh boy, your upcoming Disneyland Resort visit in November sounds like such a wonderful way to step into the magic just as the holiday season fills the parks with extra sparkle!

I completely understand why you’d be curious about a chance to peek inside Walt Disney’s apartment above the firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A.—it’s such a treasured piece of Disney history. In the past, this apartment was included as part of the Walt’s Main Street Story tour, but that particular tour is not currently being offered. Unfortunately, there won’t be opportunities to step inside Walt’s apartment during your visit. But not to worry—the magic of guided tours at Disneyland Resort is still alive and well!

This year, in honor of the Disneyland Resort 70th Celebration, Guests can enjoy the A Story of Celebration: 70th Anniversary Guided Tour. While this tour doesn’t include a visit to Walt’s apartment, it instead focuses on the history of Disneyland celebrations, highlighting memorable moments from the past seven decades with fascinating stories, a stroll down Main Street, U.S.A., Lightning Lane entry to an attraction, and even a commemorative keepsake. So far, availability for this tour is showing through early November, but I’d recommend continuing to check as your dates get closer—when more dates are released, you’ll want to secure your spot quickly since these tours can book up quickly.

If you’d still like to honor Walt during your visit, Brittanie, there are some truly heartfelt ways to do so. One of the simplest but most meaningful is to pause at the firehouse on Main Street, U.S.A. and look up at the glowing lamp in the window of Walt’s apartment—a light that has been kept aglow in his memory. You can also step into Walt Disney - A Magical Life, a brand-new attraction created for the 70th Celebration, which beautifully shares Walt’s journey and his dream that eventually became Disneyland. And of course, no trip feels complete without stopping by the Partners statue in the heart of Disneyland’s central hub, where Walt Disney and Mickey Mouse stand hand-in-hand with Sleeping Beauty Castle as their backdrop—a timeless reminder of the vision and friendship that started it all.

So, Brittanie, while stepping into Walt’s apartment may have to wait for a future visit, your November trip will still be brimming with opportunities to feel his presence—from the glowing lamp in the firehouse window to the timeless statue in the center of the park. Add in the holiday enchantment that transforms Main Street, U.S.A. into a nostalgic winter wonderland, and you’ll discover that Walt’s legacy shines just as brightly as the twinkling lights all around you.

    Have a magical visit!
