Does Main Street in the magic kingdom open 1 hr early? Does each land have a rope drop?

    Hi there, Michele!

Thank you for stopping back by the Disney Parks Moms Panel to send us another great question. It's awesome to hear you are busily planning your next Walt Disney World Resort vacation.

Shortly after the beginning of the year, Magic Kingdom Park started a new opening procedure, in which Guest's are now able to enter just the Main Street, U.S.A. portion of the park up to an hour before the rest of the park opens. While I was a big fan of the old "Welcome Show," being able to spend extra time admiring Main Street, U.S.A, and also being able to enjoy my breakfast or coffee in the middle of the magic is wonderful. Then, a few minutes before the rest of the park opens, Mickey and the gang open the park to "Let the Magic Begin!"

I can't wait to experience it for myself in just a few weeks. Have a magical vacation, Michele, and please let us know if there is anything else we are able to assist you with.
