What is the main different between LL Multipass and Individual LL for an attraction? I have a 3 Day Park Hopper + LL Multipass with my ticket. Will I be able to reserve a LL for the other 8 members of my group if they don’t have LL Multipass ?

    Hey there Sara,

Welcome to planDisney and thank you for asking this fantastic question!

The Lightning Lane Multi Pass and Lightning Lane Single Pass are both really helpful tools that add quite a bit of convenience (and efficiency!) for trips to the Happiest Place on Earth.

The Lightning Lane Multi Pass is an add-on option for standard theme park tickets that includes a few perks like the ability to skip the standby line and access Lightning Lane queues for some of the most popular attractions around the parks. You can make one reservation at a time, which entails booking a return time window for an available attraction.

One other amazing perk that comes with this add-on option is that you also get unlimited downloads of Disney PhotoPass digital photos from your trip! My family and I love stopping at as many photographers as we can using this feature.

With Lightning Lane Single Pass, it functions similarly to Lightning Lane Multi Pass in that you can book a return window to skip the standby line, but it differs in that it is a one-time purchase and is only offered for Radiator Springs Racers in Disney California Adventure Park and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance in Disneyland Park.

Both of these rides tend to be the most popular attractions in each park with the longest lines so they are offered via Lightning Lane Single Pass as an a la carte option to bypass the standby lines. You do not need to have purchased Lightning Lane Multi Pass to purchase the Lightning Lane Single Pass as they are two different systems.

For group trips, you can most definitely make Lightning Lane return window selections for your whole group at the same time! The way to do this is by linking your tickets in the Disneyland Resort mobile app

While in the app, select the Menu button in the bottom right corner of your screen then select "My Tickets & Passes," and then "Link Tickets & Passes." From here, you can use your phone camera to scan each group member's ticket barcode or manually type the ticket IDs. Once all the tickets are linked into your app, you'll see everyone in your group appear as a checkbox when making Lightning Lane selections! You can link tickets with everyone in your group so anyone can make these selections for the whole group.

Thanks again for your question, Sara! I hope you have a wonderful visit to the Disneyland Resort later this year!

    Have a Magical Day,
    Greg
