Can you mails us information about the park and hotel? Would like map and hotels of the park.

    Hello Kevin,

Thanks for coming to see us here at planDisney. We planDisney panelists love to share tips and ideas from our own vacations as Disney Guests as a way to help you plan your own magical stay.

You ask a very popular question, Kevin. We receive lots of requests to mail out printed maps of the Walt Disney World Resort theme parks and the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. While I can't mail you any info, I can help you see how to get familiar with the Walt Disney World Resort to help with your planning.

There is so much to see, do, and enjoy at the Walt Disney World Resort, and a big part of planning is knowing how to find your way around to explore all the magic.

The best way to explore all of the Walt Disney World Resort, I think, is to use the interactive maps at Disneyworld.com. There is so much to explore -- four theme parks, two water parks, all the attractions, all the entertainment offerings, 33 Resort hotels, Disney Springs, hundreds of dining locations and shops, and more -- and you can give yourself a guided tour with the convenient interactive maps. Even better, you can carry all this map info with you, and get step-by-step navigation, with the My Disney Experience mobile app.

As a quick example, let's talk about the Walt Disney World Resort hotels. Choosing where to stay is one of the most important planning decisions. "How do I know what's close to what?" you might ask. If you take a look at the online map, and filter for Resort hotels, you'll see a layout of 33 resort hotels and where they're located in relation to the theme parks. You'll see you can click on a map pin to find out more about these hotels in the Disney Resorts Collection, go check out all their photos and room layouts and amenities, and then see their availability for reservations.

The best part about using the interactive maps is that you can both see where everything is and you can make your plans. Want to zoom in on the map and book a stay at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge? You can do that. Want to zoom in on the map and check availability at Cinderella's Royal Table? You can do that.

The printed theme park guide maps are also available online, and they're super helpful for getting a big picture view of the theme parks. You can find them with these links: Magic Kingdom Guide MapEPCOT Guide MapDisney's Hollywood Studios Guide Map, and Disney's Animal Kingdom Guide Map.

Kevin, I hope this information is helpful as you make your plans to visit the Walt Disney World Resort. If you have questions when planning, please ask here at planDisney, and we'll be happy to share insights and ideas.

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
