Hello. How do you get on the mailing list for special room rates? My mom has gotten one in the past. We go to Disneyworld at least once a year and have never received an offer in the mail.

    Hi Chacora,

Thank you for visiting us today at the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Summer is an awesome time to visit, and even though we are still several months away for next year, you’ll be packing your bags before you know it.

Mickey always wants to help our budgets and gives us several options. Year round, he has some incredible Special Offers, like discounted Theme Park Tickets or special rates at select Disney Resort Hotels. There’s reduced or even free Dining Plans at times too. Offers are also available on a future stay, the so-called “Bounce-Back Offers”. There are even special savings for Members of the US Military and for Disney Rewards Visa Cardmembers.

But at times, he’ll send us some Pixie Dust with a great offer with a unique code or PIN. Only he knows who will get them and when. The only suggestion is to make sure to have your My Disney Experience account up to date, and be sure to check the preferences to receive emails.

One last tip: keep an eye on the Special Offers page, in particular in the late fall, as new offers should start to trickle in for the spring and early summer. Happy planning!
