Hi! I want to mail postcards to my students welcoming them to the new school year while I am in Disney! Is there a way to stamp these so they know it came from Disney? Thanks! Crystal

    Hi Crystal!

What a precious idea to send postcards from Walt Disney World to your students! You can absolutely make it extra special by having the postcards stamped right from the parks. Here’s how!

You can find a variety of fun, colorful postcards at almost any gift shop throughout Walt Disney World. There are plenty of designs featuring favorite characters and park scenes.

If you don’t bring postage stamps with you, they can be purchased at Gift Shops, Resort Front Desks, or theme park Guest Relations. Here are some specific places where you can buy postage stamps:

    Magic Kingdom Park: Stroller/Wheelchair Rental
    EPCOT:
Art of Disney, Disney Traders, Heritage Manor
    Disney's Hollywood Studios: Celebrity 5 & 10, Mickey’s of Hollywood, Movieland Memorabilia
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Garden Gate Gifts, The Outpost Shop
Disney Springs: Disney Springs Welcome Center, Sundries
Transportation and Ticket Center: Mickey’s Gift Station

Make sure to stop by City Hall in Magic Kingdom Park and ask a Cast Member for the “Main Street Post Mark” to be stamped on your postcards. They will stamp your mail with a special Main Street U.S.A. – Magic Kingdom postmark! When your cards get to a standard U.S. Post Office, they will then be stamped with the “Lake Buena Vista” or “Orlando” postmark.

Postcards and letters with postage already applied can be mailed from any mailbox located throughout the theme parks - simply look for the iconic blue mailboxes! Here are a few places you can find them:

Magic Kingdom Park: Near City Hall on Main Street, U.S.A.
EPCOT: At Guest Relations and near the International Gateway entrance.
Disney's Hollywood Studios: Near the entrance and at Guest Relations.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park: Near Guest Relations.
Disney Springs: Near the World of Disney store.
The front desk at all Disney Resort Hotels will also happily take your postcards and mail them for you.

I hope this helps with your magical surprise for your students. Sending best wishes to your class this year – they’re very lucky to have a thoughtful teacher like you! Have a fantastic time at Disney, and may your “special delivery” postcards bring smiles and excitement for the new school year!
