Ahoy, Laura! Thanks for cruising by with your question. I’m happy to help!
It looks like you’re already starting to think about packing for your cruise next month on the
Disney Fantasy. I know luggage fees are not that magical, but unfortunately, the port is not accepting luggage or package deliveries before arrival. However, I do have another option for you.
If you are staying at a
Disney Resorts Collection hotel in Walt Disney before your embarkation day, you can
ship a package to the resort and pick it up when you arrive. When I have mailed something to a Walt Disney World Resort hotel, I always include tracking and mail it early enough to allow for travel delays.
As much as I like to pack light, my suitcase always seems to be bursting at the seams after our cruise. I like to bring a foldable tote as a backup. It’s usually squishy and small enough to count as a personal item for most airlines, and it allows us some extra room for all the souvenirs we seem to accumulate on our vacation.
No matter how your items arrive at the port, I know you’ll have a fantastic time aboard the Disney Fantasy. A fun way to explore your ship is to participate in the
Midship Detective Agency located on Deck 5 midship. Your crew will travel all over the ship interacting with artwork while trying to solve a mystery. It’s self-paced, so don’t worry; you can still enjoy a ride on the
AquaDuck and pick up right where you left off.
Please let me know if you have any additional planning questions.
