Melissa from OH Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

Can you mail me some information about the parks and what you can do there. Maybe some maps of the parks and where the hotels are.

    Hello, Melissa! Welcome to planDisney!

I have been visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with my parents and brother since the mid-90s, and now carry on the same tradition with my wife and kids. I remember there was a time when you could request a Disney vacation planning DVD, and when it arrived, we would all sit around the TV to see what had changed or been added so we could look forward to something different. Unfortunately, the days of receiving DVDs or planning materials in the mail are gone, as Disney has gone digital! But rest assured, there is plenty of great information available to you right at your computer.

Since you found planDisney, you’re off to a good start. planDisney is a site comprised of real Guests like you who have knowledge and experiences we love to share. Not only can you submit questions like this for us to answer, but you can also utilize our planDisney Video Library for quick and fun videos of our top tips. One of my favorite tools for Guests is our planDisney Pocket Guides, where you can learn all about the different hotels that make up the Disney Resorts Collection, must-do restaurants, vacation planning checklists, park bag packing tips, and more!

Once you’re finished combing through everything that planDisney offers, you can head over to the sites for the Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. On each Theme Parks website, directly under the main photo, you can click on the park map. Here, you can see an overview of the park and hotels nearby and zoom in on specific attractions, dining options, and shopping locations. If you want something in your hand, click on the Guide Map download button directly under the map, and a printable PDF will open in a new window for you.

Need more information and guidance? Visit the Vacation Planning page on the main Disney website. Or, even better, stay up to date by following the Disney Parks Blog and the Disney Parks YouTube channel

I suggest utilizing all the tools I mentioned above to get a basic understanding of your visit to The Most Magical Place On Earth and then come back to planDisney to ask my fellow panelists and me more questions. I would love to assist you with choosing the right resort and which dining reservations to book. I would also like to explain how Disney Genie and Genie+ work so you can have the most unforgettable vacation ever!

    See you real soon,
