Hi Mary, and welcome to planDisney!
You've come to the perfect place to begin your Walt Disney World Resort vacation planning. From exploring the four theme parks to finding the best eats around property, you'll want to be prepared to maximize your time at the Most Magical Place on Earth.
Although brochures aren't sent via mail anymore, there are many fantastic resources you can find online to plan your trip. Here are some of my go-to planning tools:
-Visit the webpages for each theme park (
Magic Kingdom Park,
Disney's Hollywood Studios,
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and
EPCOT) and Resort hotel on the Walt Disney World Resort website. The site is super user-friendly, and you'll find the most updated information and upcoming attractions and events there. (My planDisney friend Lauren M. linked
digital versions of park maps in a recent answer to another Disney Guest. You may find those helpful!)
-Download the
My Disney Experience app. Even if I don't have an upcoming Disney trip planned, I love scrolling through the app to view restaurant menus, checking out the average attraction wait times, and gathering information about height requirements for my kiddos.
-Check out the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest news about the ongoings at the Disney parks. If there are any changes to policies or news about Resort offerings, you can get all of the details there.
Of course, please use us here at planDisney as a resource as well, Mary. I am more than happy to help you with more specifics about your vacation as the year goes on. Feel free to
revisit me here at planDisney. I'm all ears!
Magic always,
LeAndra
