    Hi! Do MagicSliders still fit on the MagicBand 2? Thanks!

    Welcome back, Melinda! 

    I have great news! Any MagicSliders or MagicBandits you've been collecting to personalize your MagicBands while vacationing at Walt Disney World® Resort will still fit on MagicBand 2.

    In addition, you'll find all-new accessories to accommodate MagicBand 2's newest feature, being able to remove the middle "Mickey Head" piece if you don't want to wear it as a bracelet. You'll be able to find new MagicBand merchandise on-property, at Disneystore.com, and on your smartphone with the Shop Disney Parks App. 

    One thing my family likes to do during the MagicBand customization process, is to discuss interchanging band colors so we are "mix-matched." Just remember the middle piece must stay with the guest that the band was assigned, the middle piece is the "chip" containing that guests' information. Only the band colors can be switched around.

    Something fun for you is to surprise your family when selecting the name for the bands inscription. I always pick a nickname, or a name the represents something fun that has happened over the year. When the bands arrive, they get a kick out of opening the box to see how I've labeled them for that vacation.
