Disney MagicMobile passes.
It sounds like both you and your husband have
My Disney Experience App set up on your mobile device. Do you both have separate My Disney Experience accounts, or do you, as the vacation planner manage his plans through your account? If this is the case, that may be why you are running into difficulties. Assuming this is the case, your husband can
create his own My Disney Experience account, he'll be able to create his
own MagicMobile pass on his device and select the option to
share with other Guests without getting an error message.
I have to admit, I'm kind of "old school" and prefer everyone to wear a Magic Band for this reason. In our family it's more convenient for me to just be the keeper of everyone's plans. When we're visiting a park together, I can just call up all of the passes on my device and swipe through to scan each one. If we separate, we have our Magic Bands as back up.
