    in the magickingdom parades there is an old fashion car which drives a family within the parade i was wondering how do you become that family that is in the parade.

    Hi Abbie!

    The family is picked randomly by a Cast Member at the Magic Kingdom.  It's been suggested by other guests that families wanting to be picked wear matching outfits and be enthusiastic, etc.  While that might be true, since you don't know exactly when the Cast Member will pick a family (and you don't know which Cast Member) it's hard to know what to do.

    Some people believe it's much easier to be picked to open the Magic Kingdom during the welcome ceremony at the train station.  It's been suggested that guests should be on the right side of the Magic Kingdom turnstiles about 90 minutes before park opening, wear matching outfits, and be excited!
