Hi all. We will be magicking in Dec and seems everything happens on one day. Char b'fast at our hotel is the same day as the extra magic hours day. Should we eat at hotel and go late and stay late or go early and eat b'fast at Crystal palace?

    Welcome to the Moms Panel!

I would never pass up the opportunity to take advantage of Extra Magic Hours, it's one of the greatest benefits of being a Walt Disney World resort guest.  So I would absolutely plan your day to be a the park as it opens, and schedule your dining in around that.  The earlier the dining reservation, the better.

Now that being said, I actually prefer to dine at the Crystal Palace for breakfast on a non-extra magic day.  You can typically make dining reservations here for about an hour before the park even opens, which makes for a magical stroll down a relatively empty main street.  By the time you are done your meal, the park is ready to open and you are already positioned to tackle the park!

    Have a great trip!
