Hello there Jessica, and welcome to planDisney! Thanks for stopping by with your question!
Ah, Disney's BoardWalk! If you ask me, it's still one of the hidden gems of Walt Disney World Resort - or at the very least one of my favorites that's a bit off the beaten path! Maybe it's because I grew up on the East coast, but there's something that just feels like home when I'm out walking along the water, taking in the sights, sounds, smells - and tastes! - just a short walk from EPCOT!
As far as I was able to confirm, the magicians are still in the disappearing act portion of their performance, along with most of the other "streetmosphere" that brings an extra bit of magic to the BoardWalk, but
my good friend and fellow panelist, Lisa was there just a few weeks ago and reports that the Surrey Bikes are indeed back!
Now over at my specialty, Disney Cruise Line, we have a saying, "remember - current offerings are like the tides - they're always changing!" As you get closer to your arrival date this April, I'd be checking back to see if the magicians have reappeared! If they are there when you arrive, you'll have to ask them how they did that trick - though if they're as good as they usually are they'll probably tell you "a magician never reveals their secrets..."
In the meantime however, you might be able to find some of their fellow charlatans... er... performers over at the
AbracadaBar! If you order the right drink, you may just be able to get your magic fix along with a delicious beverage - and sometimes both in one!
I hope that helps you prepare for your trip down to Disney's own slice of the Atlantic Coast, Jessica. If you come up with any more questions, or just really want to see a magic trick performed by the most amateurish of amateur magicians, feel free to drop me a line back here at planDisney!
Until we meet again, ALAKAZAM!
Andrew
