Howdy Cindy!
Welcome to
planDisney! Thank you for stopping by with this great question! I know you are excited to visit the Walt Disney World Resort with your son! Visiting the place “Where Dreams Come True” with your kiddos is always filled with “Memories to Last a Lifetime!” Oh boy, oh boy! Let’s get to planning!
You will be at “The Most Magical Place on Earth” in just a few days! Since you would like to have your charges and your son’s charges for food, etc., placed on different credit cards, Hakuna Matata, No Worries! First, make sure he has his own
My Disney Experience account with his credit card linked to his account. Then, once you arrive at your Disney Resort Collection Hotel, ask a Cast Member in Guest Services to add your son’s credit card information to your hotel room and have it attached to his
MagicBand! The Cast Member will have your son choose his security number so that each time he uses his MagicBand, he will input his security number to ensure those charges are placed on his credit card. After you take these steps, you are all set! You can also stop by Guest Services at any time throughout your stay to double-check that all of his charges are showing up on his statement and all of your charges are on your statement!
As the phased re-opening continues at the
Walt Disney World Resort and the safety measures continue, all guests are encouraged to utilize the
Mobile Food Order option on your My Disney Experience mobile app! Since your son’s credit card will already be linked to his My Disney Experience, then all the charges will go to each of your credit cards individually. I love the Mobile Food Order option! You can choose your restaurant, select your arrival time window, create your meal, and pay for it from your smartphone! I love this feature because it allows guests more time to enjoy the theme parks, and no one has to stand in line!
As you continue to plan your visit to Neverland, check out the
Disney Parks Blog to stay informed of everything to see and do during your visit in just a few weeks! If you have any more questions as you scan through the Disney Parks Blog or any other planning questions, please come back to planDisney! We look forward to helping you with all your planning questions, Cindy!
See Ya Real Soon,
